Sarah was a student of Westside Stage School for many years. During her time there she took part in the Westside funded CPA Studios Scholarship Program, as well as completing her Irish Board of Speech and Drama examinations and London College of Music examinations.
Whilst still in school, Sarah took part in several RTE singing shows including ‘Jam the Musical’ (2007), ‘Class Act Final’ (2008), and ‘SING!’ (2011). She also took part in YMT:UK, performing in ‘The Chosen Room’ in 2008/2009.
After finishing her exams in 2011, she went on to perform as lead vocalist in the 2012 United States tour of ‘Celtic Nights’. On returning she took part in the Irish musical ‘The Promise’ in The Helix. Sarah has toured the world internationally with acclaimed Irish music group, Celtic Woman. Between tours she has performed as lead vocalist and dancer on board the Irish Ferries Cabaret and recorded in Nashville, as well as at home. She works as a session singer for studios and had a residency in Siam Thai restaurant in 2014. In December 2014 & 2015 she was the featured vocalist in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre’s production of ‘The Snowman Christmas Special’. Whilst on a tour break in 2015, Sarah performed in a new Country and Western musical ‘Gotta Make That Train’ starring the legendary Sandy Kelly before returning to Australia with Celtic Woman.
Having left Celtic Woman after three years, Sarah decided to return home to Dublin to begin work on her own originals songs and collaborate with wonderful home grown talent. She soon joined the cast of Taylor’s ‘Three Rock Irish Cabaret’ as the lead singer. From there she joined the cast of ‘Find Your Way Home’ playing Maggie McHenry in it’s Irish debut in November 2016, which then returned to the stage in July 2017 but this time in Albany, Boston and Broadway NYC. From December-June 2017, Sarah performed as the lead singer in ‘Raglan Road’ in DISNEYWORLD Orlando. She completed a successful season with Costa Cruises as Lead Female Production Singer. Upon returning she was asked to be the featured singer at the Hemingway Conference 2018 in Paris, performing in the Eiffel Tower, Sorbonne University & the American Library of Paris. In short, Sarah has performed many genres over the years, and in 5 different languages, sometimes with acting & dancing thrown in to the mix. She is always open to new opportunities and challenges.
Sarah enjoyed two successful ‘Murphy’s Celtic Legacy’ tours in Cyprus in 2017 and France in 2018 and is looking forward to continued co-operation with the show.
