Lucy studies dance from a very young age starting with her RAD Ballet grades. She soon learned that her preferred field of dance was Contemporary and it was then that she decided to follow that route within A-Level Performing Arts.
Lucy then pursued her dance education at Manchester Metropolitan University where she obtained her BA Honours degree in Contemporary Dance and Choreography.
Upon graduation Lucy further trained at Pineapple Studios where she obtained her diploma in Jazz and Musical Theatre.
Training complete Lucy returned to the North East where she set up her own dance school ‘Feet First Dance’ she became Partner and resident Choreographer of Jemms Performance and also choreographed for Northumberland based companies such as D’Access Dance and Green Shoe Productions.
Lucy also became head of dance at Prudhoe Community High School and Director of Dance at The Royal Grammar School.
Lucy continues to choreograph and teach across the North East and is thrilled to be part of the Murphy’s Legacy team.
