Kelly Stephens was born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

She began her dancing career at the young age of 3 for the Doherty Academy in Coventry, then later went on to dance for the Carey Academy. Throughout her many years of dancing Kelly won numerous titles including the British National, All Ireland, American National, Great Britain and Midland Regional Qualifier.

At the of age 16, Kelly achieved the title of Girls World Champion, which she then went on to win again in 2003 and 2005. Kelly started her touring career in 2007 by joining the cast of ‘Riverdance’, where she spent the following few years touring the UK, China, Japan and all over Europe.

2010 saw Kelly join Michael Flatley’s ‘Lord of the Dance‘. She had the pleasure of touring all over the world and being part of one of the company’s biggest productions ‘Feet of Flames’.

In 2013 Kelly was asked to join ‘Murphy’s Celtic Legacy’ as Dance Captain and Dancer. She has had the pleasure to watch the show grow into a unstoppable force and is excited to see what will happen next.
